Adaptability in Colour

I created this piece reflecting the adaptability of humans especially the African woman in amidst of change.

Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. This work challenged me to dare and to be bold in order to achieve my greatness. It reflects grace and rest through a metamorphosis from infancy to adulthood.

This is my take on abstract oil and acrylic painting with traditional expressionist style exploring colour and reflecting heritage.
